About my blog

Hello and thank you for checking out my blog!  I never thought I'd have a blog, have a need for one or know enough people interested in my thoughts and opinions on things to have one.  This may very well be the case but I decided to give it a shot.  I want to apologize upfront for my grammar, spelling and at times vulgar language.  I'm not a professional writer or critic, I'm a business man with a passion for family, friends, food, spirits, sports, music, movies and television....just to name a few.  My blog will primarily be devoted to food and sports but I figured I'd give you a caveat up front in case I dabble in other arenas.  Lately I've been sharing my opinions, thoughts and suggestions on my Facebook account and many of my FB "friends" have commented on my numerous posts about my love for food and trying out restaurants around Phoenix.  Some have suggested that I become a food critic but I'm in no way qualified for that.  I must admit, this is what initially sparked the idea of creating a blog so that I can have a forum to talk about food and the local restaurants around AZ that my wife Alicia and our 16 month old daughter Adison check out.  Hell, why not give it a shot?  Admittedly, I'm extremely passionate and opinionated so what better way to share these thoughts with those that choose to read them?  I don't expect to have a "following" but I'm sure most of my friends will stop by and check out what I have to say and give me shit for having a blog.  If not, well, no love lost.  So this is my blog, He's Throwing Cheese.  That's an old baseball saying that I've incorporated as the title of my blog because I like the saying and it relates to food and sports.  Food and Sports, probably my two biggest passions.
